How do I set up my availability?

Navigate to your provider dashboard, click on "Availability" in the sidebar, and use the calendar interface to set your working hours. You can set recurring schedules and block off specific dates for holidays or time off.

Can I integrate with my existing calendar?

Yes! Medbookings supports Google Calendar integration. You can enable two-way sync in your settings to automatically sync bookings with your Google Calendar and block times when you have external events.

How are patients reminded about appointments?

Patients receive automatic reminders via WhatsApp and email 24 hours before their appointment. You can customize the reminder timing in your notification settings.

What happens if a patient needs to cancel?

Patients can cancel or reschedule appointments through their dashboard. You will be notified immediately, and the time slot will automatically become available for other patients to book.

How do I handle no-shows?

You can mark appointments as "No Show" in your dashboard. This helps track patient attendance and you can set up automated no-show policies in your settings.

Is my patient data secure?

Absolutely. Medbookings is fully POPIA compliant. All patient data is encrypted, securely stored, and only accessible to authorized users. We undergo regular security audits to ensure the highest level of data protection.
